Bursting is an effective method of controlled demolition used to remove sections of concrete.
Bursting heads are placed in pre-drilled holes and are expanded under hydraulic pressure to produce cracks, effectively splitting the structure into smaller sections for removal.
The hydraulic burster is favoured in instances where vibration and noise must be limited due to other surrounding working environments (occupied offices, hospitals etc), and is more effective than hand held pneumatic tools. This machine can also be used very effectively in restricted areas as their hydraulic power pack can be powered by petrol, diesel or electric motors.
